Huda Beauty is much more than just makeup. Huda Kattan, the entrepreneur behind Huda Beauty, has launched in 2018 a luxury fragrance collection named Kayali. The exotic scents from Kayali Perfume are inspired in the Middle East roots of Huda Kattan. Deja Vu White Flower and Vanilla are the first fragrances I tried from Kayali. Here is my review about them.
The America’s Richest Self-Made Woman according to Forbes, Hudda Kattan, has built since 2013 a beauty empire that beauty lovers have been addicted since then. The launch of Huda Beauty back in 2013 was a viral success. The eyeshadow palettes and the liquid lipsticks were a huge triumph over similar products from luxury brands that had been for years in the market. The exponential growth of Huda Beauty has led more recently to the creation of a skincare line, Wishful, and a fragrance collection, Kayali.
Kayali, the Arabic word for imagination, brings the best of the luxury world of Middle East fragrances. Kayali presents a range of 11 Perfumes that can be layered amongst them to create an exotic, seductive and glamorous combination.
When I was in Prague’s Airport, they had a 10ml travel size of Kayali Deja Vu White Flower and Vanilla Perfumes. I had the chance to try for the first time Kayali‘s fragrances. Are they extraordinary like the makeup products of Huda Beauty?
KAYALI DEJA VU WHITE FLOWER|57
Composed with notes of gardenia, jasmine, orange, tuberose and Tahitian vanilla, Kayali Deja Vu White Flower Eau de Parfum it’s a sensual and captivating perfume that leaves a memorable trail.
This perfume reminds me the mysterious woman of the fifties that knew how to be confident and sweet at the same time. This is a timeless fragrance, in my opinion, due to the gardenia that provides a nostalgic scent that our Mother’s would carry with pride.
I love to wear this fragrance on those days that I feel inspired, powerful and full of energy to manifest my dreams.
White Flower is ideal for women that like sweet, long-lasting and provocative scents.
Kayali Vanilla Eau de Parfum is a happy, fresh and a balanced perfume with notes of vanilla orchid, tonka, amber, musk and brown sugar.
This is a vanilla fragrance that brings back the special moments of Holiday Season when you’re surrounded by family and friends. It’s that type of welcoming and delicious vanilla that no one can resist to.
Everytime I spray Kayali Vanilla on my skin, I feel accomplished, nurtured and calm. I love the type of vanilla that smells like cakes and pies, without being overpowering and Kayali Vanilla is exactly like that, a perfect vanilla recipe.
This is a fantastic Eau de Parfum for anyone that likes to be easy-going, yet noticed when passing by. For Christmas Season this is the perfect perfume that blends itself with the sweet and spicy Christmassy meals.
As I said in the beginning, Kayali Perfumes can be combined together. Despite that on Kayali‘s website White Flower and Vanilla are not recognised as the best combination, I still took risks and I’m glad I did so. White Flower and Vanilla sprayed together are a celebration of long-lasting, voluptuous, exotic and delicate scents. It’s a strong sweet aroma combination, yet very luxurious, tempting and irresistible.
Kayali‘s fragrance collection has certainly grabbed my attention, thus I’m hoping to try more in the near future. Cult Beauty website has available the Kayali Discovery Layering Set which includes 8 fragrances in a sample size. It only costs £22.
The price of Kayali’s Eau de Parfum 50ml is £70 and 100ml is £107. As a durable and luxury perfume, I find the price reasonable. In any case, there is always the 10ml size that it’s a better option when buying for the first time.
Huda Kattan always knows how to impress us! Did you ever try Kayali’s Perfumes?
