Beauty Pie Favourites

The high-end cosmetics website, Beauty Pie, is a great option to buy high quality beauty products at a very low price. I subscribed to Beauty Pie in 2018 and there have been products since then that have become part of my skincare routine. If you never heard of this amazing discount membership beauty club, it’s time to find out more and start saving on your monthly beauty bill. I show you 9 skincare Beauty Pie items that I cannot live without since I subscribed it. They are the best to get started with, in case you are new to Beauty Pie.

I love taking care of my skin, but I don’t like to leave my wallet on my skincare shopping when I want to get the best possible. To solve this problem, Beauty Pie has been the best investment I did so far to treat my skin with high-end quality products. The high-end beauty industry can be very convincing in making you buy expensive products, although it shouldn’t be costly to have a hydrated, plumped, good-looking skin. Since 2018, when I subscribe to Beauty Pie, I saved so far on my skincare shopping £3.373,00. Incredible, right!

Let me explain you what Beauty Pie is, so you can start saving as me, and show you the 9 Beauty Pie skincare items that I would recommend you to have a radiant and nourished skin.

WHAT IS BEAUTY PIE?

Beauty Pie is a digital-only make-up and skincare platform that cuts out the middleman and the mark-ups, allowing you to buy directly from factories that supply the majority of luxury beauty brands. Most of their skincare is made in Switzerland.

For just £10 a month or £59 a year, you’re given a shopping allowance of £100 retail price that it accumulates if you don’t use it. For example: you pay the £10 monthly subscription, you get an allowance of £100, you then purchase a product that retail price is £60, but on Beauty Pie, costs only £10, so you will pay only £10 and from the £100 allowance, you will be left with £40.

Because I subscribed it since 2018 and I don’t use it every month, my allowance has accumulated and at the moment is £4.000, meaning I can now purchase several luxury beauty items for half price. The only con of Beauty Pie is that you pay a monthly subscription fee and you still need to pay for the items you buy, however at lower price. For example, if you buy an eye cream from a high-end brand, you will pay minimum £30, in Beauty Pie, you’ll be paying only £13.

Beauty Pie also have makeup, but because I like to try it first and they are only available online, I prefer buying only the skincare.

Jeju Daily range suits every skin type that lacks hydration and tends to be reactive. My favourites Jeju Daily Rehydration Mist and Jeju Daily Super Stem Cell Moisture Shot Serum are enriched with aloe vera extract, tomato and daphne stem cells. The result is a soothing, antioxidant and highly hydrating formula. I use both of them day and night.

Jeju Daily Serum texture

Jeju Daily Serum has a lightweight texture that is quickly absorbed by the skin and the calming effect provided by the aloe vera prevents skin to react to environmental damage.

QI ENERGY MOISTURISER

QI Energy Ginseng Root and Ginger Super Moisturiser is a regenerative, reenergising and anti-aging cream, that suits all skin types. The delicate consistency penetrates easily inside the skin to detox whilst retaining moisture and strengthening the skin barrier. The key ingredientes are ginseng extract, hyaluronic acid and squalane. I use this moisturiser at night, but it can be used at daytime too.

UBER YOUTH EYE CREAM

Uber Youth Super Eye Energy Peptide-Infusion Cream is formulated with caffeine, red algae extract and raspberry stem cells. It fights puffy eyes, improving the appearance of dark circles, at the same time that hydrates and firms the eye area. I always apply on my under-eyes and eyelids, day and night time. The texture when massaged on the skin, feels refreshing, light and regenerative.

SUPER RETINOL EYE CREAM, SERUM AND MOISTURISER

Beauty Pie Super Retinol Night Moisturiser, Serum and Eye Cream

When I see that my skin is becoming dull and the pores are enlarged, I always rely on retinol products to renew my skin texture. The Beauty Pie Retinol range is perfect to revive skin’s natural luminosity. My favourites from this range are Super Retinol + Vitamin C Night Renewal Moisturiser, Super Retinol Ceramide-Boost Anti-Aging Face Serum and Super Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream.

I would advise this skincare line to normal and dry skin. It can be used on oily skin, but I would recommend to test it first to check if there’s no reaction, since oily skin tends to be sensitive and reactive. I have oily and reactive skin and Super Retinol works perfectly on my skin. I only use at night and 2 times a week. Remember that if you are under a chemical treatment or pregnant, retinol should be avoided.

The consistency of Super Retinol Serum.
The eye cream and night moisturiser have a slight thicker consistency.

Super Retinol Night Moisturiser is composed with shea butter, vitamin E, ferulic acid and 1% of retinol complex. It reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation, deeply nourishes and brightens skin.

Super Retinol Serum has a special combination of ceramides, lactic acid, hyaluronic acid and 3% of retinol complex. It smooths lines, improves skin texture, hydrates and boosts radiance.

Super Retinol Eye Cream with 1% of retinol complex has a bioflavonoid with antioxidant properties to reduce puffiness and dark circles.

DR. GLYCOLIC TONER

Beauty Pie Dr Glycolic Toner

If you have uneven skin texture, oily t-zone, fine lines, tired and dehydrated skin, you need to try Dr Glycolic Pore-Purifying Glow Toner. This toner works like magic when skin needs a SOS saviour. I can assure you that from the first use, there’s a visible improvement on the skin. Pores are refined and skin becomes more glowy. I use 3 to 4 times a week at night. I don’t use daytime, because my skin is sensitive to glycolic under sunlight, even with broad spectrum SPF 50.

Dr Glycolic Toner has 9.2% glycolic acid, 1.5% multi-fruit aha and 1% niacinamide. It exfoliates dead skin to reveal a smoother and healthier skin. The consistency is like a transparent liquid that looks like water.

JAPANFUSION MOISTURE MASK

JapanFusion range reminds me of Korean skincare. Made in Japan, JapanFusion Bio-Ceramide Moisture Mask is an extraordinary face mask that replenishes dehydrated skin, brightens skin instantly and reduces visibly expression lines. This mask is rich in jabara vitamin C, grape extract and exfoliating yuzu ceramides and suits all skin types.

I normally use it once a week at night, after my Filorga Age-Purify Mask (click here to read article about Filorga Mask), and remove the excess with a cotton pad (I like to leave the leftover as a night cream).

FINAL THOUGHTS

If you like beauty subscriptions, Beauty Pie is the right online beauty subscription to save money, but still have access to luxury skincare and makeup. I would recommend as well their sheet face masks which are very similar to Dr Jart+.

Beauty Pie has a discount code for Black Friday week: BF50. It gives a 50% discount between 21st and 28th November.
