As we age, accomplishing the perfect winged eyeliner, it seems an impossible task. With the eyelids going wrinkly, year after year, the flick of the eyeliner gets more crooked. The eyeliner you once used, suddenly doesn’t work anymore and you are forced to test every eyeliner until finding one that transforms the impossible into a possible task. At 39 years old, I realised my eyeliner couldn’t perform well as before, hence I looked for a new one. I discovered 4 eyeliners that made me believe that wrinkled eyelids have the right to a winged eyeliner too. Keep reading to find out my Top 4 Eyeliners for Wrinkled Eyelids.
I love an eyeliner that slides easily on the eyelid, especially now that my eyelids are starting to have wrinkles on the outer corner. It’s been a real challenge to achieve a perfect cat eye look after being 37, and now with 39 years old, even with botox on, the truth is, my eyelids are aging. My previous eyeliner from Nyx made my eyes look clumsy, because when your eyes get droopy, if the eyeliner takes time to dry, it goes everywhere from the moment you lift your eyes up to look in the mirror.
So I knew my eyeliner search had to include the following benefits:
- Dry quickly;
- Easy to draw a precise eyeliner flick;
- Do not smudge;
- Long lasting.
I tried gel, pencil and pen eyeliners, but when you have wrinkles that fold right at the outer corners, only a few do wonders. According to those benefits, I found 4 eyeliners perfect for hooded and wrinkled eyes, that make my eyes look like a “Picasso masterpiece”.
These are the 4 eyeliners I found:
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Liner;
- Kiko Precision Eyeliner;
- Exp Cosmetics 2-in-1 Black Eyeliner;
- Huda Beauty Life Liner 2-in-1 Eyeliner.
Bellow there’s the swatch of each one of them. It’s now time to review them.

1.ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS LIQUID LINER

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Liner is one of my favourite eyeliners since last year. I spoke about it before when this replaced my previous Nyx eyeliner. The tip of the eyeliner is very precise, it doesn’t smudge, dries quickly, stays all day and it can last up to 6 months until you need to buy a new one. For wrinkled eyelids, it’s easy to draw a thin line with ABH Liquid Liner.

I have used Kiko Precision Eyeliner before and I forgot how easy is to get a perfect thin flick with this eyeliner. As the name suggests, it’s a precise eyeliner that can be used in the most hooded or droopy eye, since the tip helps to draw a very fine line. When I want to achieve a slender eyeliner cat eye look, this is my favourite at the moment. It’s easy and quick to get that thin flick, it dries quickly and it’s long lasting too.

3.EXP COSMETICS 2-IN-1 BLACK EYELINER

I wrote an article before about Exp Cosmetics. The British brand has one of the pen eyeliners that I like the most at the moment. This eyeliner is actually a lash glue eyeliner, but recently I have been using as an eyeliner. I love the shiny design of the eyeliner, it’s sophisticated and glamourous. The tip of the pen, is a dark black that once applied stays forever. This pen is at the same level as Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. I can draw a beautiful winged liner and disguise the outer corner wrinkle on both of my eyelids.

4.HUDA BEAUTY LIFE LINER 2-IN-1 EYELINER

Huda Beauty Life Liner 2-in-1 Eyeliner is a dual ended eyeliner. This eyeliner is perfect for travelling, because of its liquid liner and pencil, all in the same packaging. If you want something practical for holidays, you can just use the pencil without being too concern if the eyeliner looks precise or not. The liquid liner works well on my “close to 40’s” eyelids, as you can see on the picture above. Exactly as the others eyeliners I recommended so far, it dries fast and stays on without moving.

CONCLUSION
From these 4 eyeliners, my favourites are ABH Liquid Liner and Kiko Precision Eyeliner. The Huda Beauty Life Liner I like it for holidays and the Exp Cosmetics Eyeliner for when I apply false lashes.
Have you tried any of these eyeliners? What eyeliner do you wear everyday?
Thank you for reading and subscribing,

ABH seems to great for anything to do with eyes
So true! I was surprised ABH eyeliner was so good, because it’s not popular as other products, but is amazingly good! Thank you for reading Xx
My pleasure Michele
Thanks for this amazing post! I really like the convenience of the Huda Beauty Life Liner with the dual ended function, I think I will get it for my next holiday. I really like how it looks on you, the line is clean, precise and very pigmented. I’m definitely adding it to my wish list!
I like multi-task makeup products too. The one from Huda Beauty is a good investment for any makeup look, daytime or night-time. Thank you for your feedback.
