Korean skincare is the avant-garde in skin science and innovation. Born from the best ingredients based on Korea beauty high standards, Dr. Jart+ brings high performance skincare destined to the most demanding customers. I read so many positive reviews about Dr. Jart+ that I had to try it for myself and understand if Korean skincare really delivers what is known for. I tried the main ranges of Dr. Jart+: Ceramidin, a deep moisturising skincare line and Teatreement, designed for skin prone to blemishes. To test Dr. Jart+ efficacy, I tried as well the famous Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment. Was it worth it?
Every time I watched YouTube videos from Korean influencers showing their skin, I always desire to have skin like them. When the whole concept of “glass skin” started, I wanted to fly to Korea and buy all their skincare. Obviously my crazy wish didn’t come true, but I have been able to try finally their famous brand Dr. Jart+. I could have tried just one range, but no, I had to try it all. Which one did I like the most? Ceramidin, Teatreement or the Cicapair Color Correcting Treatment?
DR. JART+ CERAMIDIN SKINCARE LINE

In August I bought the Dr. Jart+ Eye Cream and I fell in love. I was lucky I got some samples of all the Ceramidin range.
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin range is perfect for dry skin, thirsty for hydration. Even if the cream has a rich texture, someone with sensitive skin and prone to blemishes would still be able to use this range.
The secret behind this skincare range is the Ceramidin Complex, which is composed by five ceramides that together with niacinamide, help skin to retain water and strengthen skin’s barrier. Ceramides are a natural component of our skin that keep our skin plumped and hydrated, As we age, we loose ceramides, thus Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin is a great anti-aging range.
The review of each product individually:
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Eye Cream – This eye cream is my favourite of all times. I cannot find any disadvantage. It’s nourishing, replenishes lack of moisture, reduces dark circles and brightens the eye area. What is remarkable in this eye cream is the texture that hydrates deeply the under-eye area without leaving the skin looking greasy and it gives a healthy glow like a natural highlighter effect. Another benefit of this eye cream is the size of the packaging. You pay £27 for an eye cream of 20ml instead of 15ml. For example, I bought this eye cream in August and it lasts forever. I have been using it day and night and it’s far from being finished. For all these reasons, this is one of the products I elect as one of my favourites in 2021. You can read the first review I wrote about this eye cream here.
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid – This is a super hydrating toner and in my opinion, for oily skin like mine, you wouldn’t need a serum after this toner. This powerful toner is charged with panthenol, centella asiatica and phyto extracts to regenerate dry skin that tends to get flaky or cracked. For winter, where the cold weather can dry your skin, this product would be ideal.
Dr. Jart+Ceramidin Serum – As I said above, if I would use the serum, I wouldn’t use the toner. Between the serum and the toner, I would choose the toner, since as a first step of a skincare routine, it’s better to use a more liquid formula, to penetrate deeply the skin and energize all the active ingredients of the next skincare step, such as a face cream. Because of its thick consistency, this serum could be used as a face cream. The Ceramidin Complex transforms this serum in the best ally to fight aging. So in case you are looking for an anti-age serum this will be a good choice.
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream – This cream regardless being super thick and rich, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. Although, on my oily skin type, I wouldn’t be able to use this cream daytime, I would look like a “walking shiny” face. I find this cream perfect for night-time, to repair loss of hydration and elasticity. Enriched with hyaluronic acid and shea butter, this is a cream that will replenish hydration even on the driest skin. In my opinion, I think if you use the Ceramidin Liquid, followed by the Ceramidin Serum, you won’t be needing the Ceramidin Cream. In case, your skin is extremely dry, then it would justify the use of all 3.
DR. JART+TEATREEMENT SKINCARE LINE AND DR. JART+ CICAPAIR TIGER GRASS COLOR CORRECTING CREAM

When I saw on Beauty Bay the Dr. Jart+ Anti-Blemish Trial Kit for only £22, above on the picture, with sample size of all the Teatreement range, plus the Cicapair Tiger Grass, I knew I had to try it.
Dr. Jart+ Teatreement reduces blemishes and reestablish the natural skin’s pH. The magic ingredient of tea tree extract, controls excess of oil whilst keeping skin hydrated.
Teatreement skincare line is definitely something that I like to use daytime to keep my oily t-zone under control. The whole range has a herbal scent that brings peace to your skin and soul.
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair skincare line is perfect for skin prone to blemishes and redness. The secret behind Cicapair is the green repair solution that includes centella asiatica, herbs, minerals and probiotics. Centella asiatica is known as well as Cica, hence the range name “Cicapair”. Cica is a herbal medicinal green leave that heal injuries, reduces inflammation and calms irritated skin. Korean skincare loves this ingredient and for polluted cities, Cicapair is the best range to heal sensitive skin.
The review of each product individually:
Dr. Jart+ Teatreement Cleansing Foam – This cleansing foam is the hero you need to wash your face without feeling your skin dry afterwards. When I used it for the first time, I was delighted to see my skin free of all impurities and dirt, looking fresh and feeling soft. The salicylic acid blended with coconut extracts and tea tree, reinvigorate skin’s natural balance. If you suffer from spots, big pores and excess of oil, you should try this cleansing foam.
Dr. Jart+ Teatreement Toner – For oily or combination skin, this toner will be your best friend. On my skin, Teatreement Toner made my skin look more matte throughout the day, controlling effectively my oily t-zone. One of the big benefits of this toner is being infused with vitamin B3 to prevent dark spots. If I am in a rush, I apply it directly on my face, without any cotton pads and it works perfectly.
Dr. Jart+ Teatreement Moisturizer – This cream has such a nice texture. It feels super light, given by its gel consistency and it feels like silk on the skin. For oily skin that struggles to find a moisturizer that hydrates and at the same time doesn’t clog the pores, then Teatreement Moisturizer will change your life. I love using this cream at daytime to control excess of oil and avoid any uninvited spots.
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment – If you don’t suffer from redness, then I wouldn’t advise Cicapair Color Correcting. The green color and paste consistency will make your skin look white, if you don’t have blemishes. This treatment is formulated specifically for skin that tends to have visible blemishes that extend to the whole face. On redness, Tiger Grass Color Correcting, works like a miracle. It camouflages quickly any uncomfortable redness, being an amazing base before foundation. At the same time it will treat blemishes and it will protect your skin from harmful UV light, because it has a broad spectrum of SPF 30.
CONCLUSION
After trying Dr. Jart+, I can understand why Korean skincare is so popular. My favourite 3 products, overall, would be:
- Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Eye Cream
- Dr. Jart+ Teatreement Cleansing Foam
- Dr. Jart+ Teatreement Toner

[…] Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid is the most hydrating toner I ever tried, so I knew I had to include it in this “ski holiday skincare essentials”. The consistency is like rice water and from the moment it gets in contact with skin, it gives softness and elasticity. You can read more about it in the article below. READ RELATED ARTICLE […]
