If you haven’t heard before about Mellow Cosmetics, prepare to fall in love for this makeup brand. It’s an Australian brand that has expanded internationally and it’s cruelty free, vegan and paraben free. I have tried their high quality pigmented lipsticks and if you would like to try them, there is a discount available, right at the end of this article.

Lipstick it’s a girl’s best friend, either a nude for everyday or a statement lipstick for those occasions that you want to feel bold, sexy and noticed as you get into a room. When I came across Mellow Cosmetics in Instagram, I got instantly curious about their lipsticks. So many beautiful colours and the texture looked exactly as I like a lipstick to be.
I chose 3 lipsticks to see if they are worth it or not. Bellow you can see the colours I got and read the review for each one of them.
1.CREAMY MATTE LIPSTICK NUDE
From the 3 lipsticks I got, I absolutely love this one. It’s hydrating, it lasts, the colour is perfect for everyday, hence it’s the type of matte lipstick you need to have in your bag. Creamy matte lipstick in shade nude it actually became my favourite lipstick for this summer, because I love the contrast of my tanned skin with this light pink nude shade.
Any cons? I truly don’t have anything bad or negative to say about it. It’s a vegan lipstick that doesn’t have a fragrance or taste that bothers me, which normally is the first thing that puts me off when buying a lipstick from most of the high end luxury brands.
2.LIQUID LIP PAINT VELVET MATTE PARIS
This red liquid lipstick is so vibrant, smooth and long lasting. Liquid lip paint in shade paris has a soft velvet matte texture that feels comfortable and because it’s high pigmented, you will need to touch up less. Since it’s not an 100% matte lipstick it can transfer to your face mask, however it holds well to the point that doesn’t need to be reapplied.
Again I don’t have nothing bad to say about this lipstick.
3. LIQUID LIP PAINT VELVET MATTE TOKYO
Liquid lip paint in shade tokyo is the one I like the least. It’s an extravagant colour that I felt I had to try it on. Unfortunately it’s not pigmented enough like the previous lipsticks. I had to reapply it several times to get intense as shown in the picture. Nonetheless, I like the eccentricity of the colour. For a girls night out it’s perfect!
CONCLUSION AND DISCOUNT
Creamy matte lipstick in shade nude and liquid lip paint in shade paris are my favourites. I like them so much, that now I wonder if the eyeshadow palettes are as pigmented as these lipsticks. Probably they will be in my makeup shopping list, especially now that they have the eyeshadow quad palette for just £9.
